Homes and businesses across Grantham
In Grantham we spray for businesses as well as homeowners. Shop fronts, commercial units and entrance doors on one side; uPVC windows, doors and garage doors on the other. The method is the same for both: clean, key, mask, prime and spray, on site.
We come over from Nottingham along the A52.
uPVC windows and doors
Dark brown and white uPVC can both be taken to a modern colour. The house below had brown frames sprayed Manor House Grey — a softer grey than anthracite that suits rendered and stone-coloured houses.

We also spray bifold and patio doors, conservatory frames inside and out, and fascias. Read more about window spraying and conservatory spraying.

Commercial spraying in Grantham
Most commercial frontages have not failed — they have faded, or they are still in the last occupant's colours. Respraying keeps the framing, cladding or doors you already have and changes the finish, usually in days rather than the weeks a replacement frontage takes.
We spray shop fronts and sign boards, profiled cladding on industrial and commercial units, roller shutters and aluminium entrance doors. Work is fitted around trading — a closed day, early starts or a frontage done in sections — and RAMS are supplied where a site needs them.
See our commercial spray painting services, or the detail on shop front spraying.
Choosing a colour
Anthracite is the most popular choice nationally, but it is not the only option, and it is not always the best one for a stone or rendered house. Softer greys such as Manor House Grey, agate and sage suit lighter walls; black and anthracite suit red brick. We can spray any RAL colour and match a sample, and we will show you swatches against the house before anything is sprayed.
For businesses, the colour usually comes from the brand guidelines. Give us the RAL reference or a sample and we will match it.
How it works
For homes, a day or two on site: masking, cleaning, keying, priming, then the colour in thin coats. For businesses, the same method, programmed around trading — a frontage can be done in sections so the door stays open, or on a day the premises are closed. Either way, everything not being sprayed is protected, and the site is left clean when we go.
Grantham's conservation area
South Kesteven District Council's Article 4 direction covers Stamford's conservation area, not Grantham's. Grantham's conservation area still carries stricter controls than the rest of the town: work that would normally be permitted development can need planning permission, and changes are expected to preserve or enhance the area's appearance.
For a shop front or house in the centre of town, check with the council before changing the colour of anything on the street side. Elsewhere in Grantham, colour changes to uPVC are normally a free choice.

Spraying in Grantham: questions
Do you do commercial paint spraying in Grantham?
Yes. We spray shop fronts, fascias and sign boards, commercial unit cladding, roller shutters and aluminium entrance doors, working around trading hours where needed.
Is the spraying done on site or off site?
Windows, doors, shop fronts and cladding are sprayed on site, where they are. Nothing has to be removed, and everything around the work is masked and sheeted first.
Does Grantham have an Article 4 direction for windows or painting?
South Kesteven District Council's Article 4 direction covers the Stamford conservation area, not Grantham. Grantham's conservation area still has stricter controls than elsewhere, and the council advises checking before carrying out work that affects the appearance of a building in it.
How much does uPVC spraying cost in Grantham?
From £75 a window, £160 for a front door and £250 for a garage door. A full house of windows typically comes to £400–£900. Commercial jobs are quoted individually.
How long does a shop front take?
A single shop front is usually two to three days including preparation and drying time. Larger commercial jobs are programmed at survey.
Can you spray to our company's brand colours?
Yes. We work from RAL references, manufacturers' corporate palettes and physical samples, and agree the colour and sheen before the frontage is sprayed.
Do you spray conservatories in Grantham?
Yes, inside and out. Frames, doors and fascias can all be sprayed, and the inside is often done at the same time so both faces match.
